Holman has worked on over 180 Home Depot locations to build and install a variety of custom elements that vary from store to store.
Build, Install, Print Production
When Home Depot arrived in Canada, it experienced exponential growth across the country. In doing so, it also changed people’s habits in how they shopped for home improvement goods and services. Realizing that customers were becoming savvier and were looking to have an experience where learning was at the heart of their buying decisions, Home Depot decided to adjust their stores. They hired some of the country’s best retail designers to create special niche areas and retail displays that focused on particular products, their characteristics and features.
Holman worked on over 180 locations to build and install a variety of custom retail displays and elements that vary from store to store, depending on the layout, SKU count and particular traits specific to each location. Holman built elements that have ranged from overhead ceiling elements that call out particular sections to large millwork cabinets with integrated computer stations. We worked across six time zones with Home Depot and their design partners to ensure these elements were all installed on time and on budget.
This new approach at the retail level has worked well to complement shoppers’ new way of shopping for home improvement goods and services. Today, The Home Depot remains Canada’s leading home improvement specialty retailer and a favorite destination for DIYers and weekend warriors.
